The last bells rang in all Pridnestrovian schools on the last Saturday of May. Those who have completed first grade and those who say goodbye to childhood forever and graduate into adulthood are traditionally honored on this day. The Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Deputy for constituency No. 25 “Western” Galina Antyufeyeva was present at the ceremony at the 14th school of the capital.
A real grand entrance was organized for eleventh graders at secondary school No. 14. They were greeted by all the students and teachers with applause, and fireworks swirled over the school yard. Graduates were the main stars of the ceremonial meeting today. They really deserve it. Many are excellent athletes, participants and winners of various intellectual competitions and Olympiads. There is also a contender for a gold medal among the current eleventh graders.
Eleventh graders are preparing to take exams, finals and entrance exams. They are happy about the short respite and the fact that they are entering a new stage - adulthood for now. Family and friends secretly wipe away tears of joy and pride.
The graduates had been preparing for their last school class for several months. They performed a traditional school waltz only to a modern song by Lana Del Rey, which we chose themselves. The dance grew into a real dance composition. It took several months of rehearsal to get everything perfect.
The eleventh graders agreed and came in Soviet school uniforms for their last school ceremonial meeting. Brown dresses, white aprons and even white bows are a symbol of a passing childhood.
However, they congratulated at the school assembly not only the graduates, but also all the school students who distinguished themselves this school year. A guest came from Chisinau for the sake of one of the eighth-graders.
Several dozen students of various classes received certificates of commendation. The teachers were presented with certificates from the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic by Vice-Speaker of Parliament Galina Antyufeyeva.
