To withdraw for finalization

In the course of the meeting of the Presidium held today the decision was taken to withdraw from consideration of the Supreme Council of the draft Tax Code. Earlier the document was sent to the previous government. It was proposed to replace the income tax by three taxes: income, property of legal entities and value added tax. Parliamentarians have repeatedly emphasized, the proposed document contains many contradictions.

The speaker emphasized that the state needs tax reform. However, it must be approached thoughtfully and responsibly. Deputies are going to  work in the near future on new tax code, as well as over the main financial document for the current year.

Members of the Presidium decided on the date of the next plenary session. It is scheduled for January 25.
