The President met with employees of the budgetary sphere in Grigoriopol. There were no empty seats in the hall of the local State Administration. Teachers, doctors, workers, and social workers were able to ask questions of concern to them. Participants of the meeting were parliamentarians representing the interests of city and district residents in the legislative body of the republic, Oleg Leontiev and Vladimir Pelin.

During the open dialogue they talked about foreign policy, about the agreements reached by the parties to the negotiation process over the past year. This is the opening of the bridge near the village of Bychok, neutral license plates for Pridnestrovian car owners, as well as apostilling the diplomas of the PSU. All this, according to the President, are steps on the way to the recognition of Pridnestrovie. The conversation touched upon the economic situation in the republic. There is some progress. The proof is the reduction of the budget deficit from 2 billion rubles to 600 million rubles.

The participants in the conversation with the President raised the topic of public health. According to the figures, the number of cancer patients increased in Grigoriopol and Grigoriopol district. Assistance to citizens suffering from cancer can be provided in Tiraspol. Last year, thanks to Russian aid, an oncological dispensary was opened in the capital.

A resident of Grigoriopol, who came to the meeting, expressed her gratitude to Deputy Vladimir Pelin for the attention of the parliamentarian to the Grigoriopol veterans on the eve of Victory Day.

Residents of the Grigoriopol district villages had an opportunity to ask the president questions. The problem was shared by those living in the village of Vesyoloe, located 23 kilometers from Grigoriopol. There are only 17 houses, fewer than a hundred people live. Residents have to survive without natural gas and drinking water. There is a well, but there is very little water in it and it is absolutely unsuitable for drinking. The head of the local administration explained that the village will be included in the state water supply program next year. Until that time the delivery of drinking water to Veseloy organize. The possibility of providing residents of the village with benefits for paying for electricity is considered in the near future.
