The deputies of the Supreme Council approved the annual reports of the editors-in-chief of state media outlets at the plenary session. The hearing of reports by parliamentarians and the adoption of resolutions on their approval is a procedure of every year, provided for by the Law on Mass Media.

The staff of the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel continued the phased strategy for the development of modern television. This includes improving the qualifications of employees, the introduction of innovative technologies and media developments, and attracting an audience through social networks and messengers. The fashionable message today “I don’t watch TV” forced television to change. So by 2025, the First Pridnestrovian has 161 thousand subscribers on YouTube, who from time to time watch "TV" without even turning it on. The largest increase in subscribers over the year is in Telegram and TikTok: an average of 30%. All major media formats are used on air. There are news releases, the final program "On Saturdays, How It Was", a program with a wide selection of guests and topics "Question of the Day", an entertaining morning broadcast, a children's project, an action-style program "On the Road! In a New Way" and much more. A separate area is the popularization of the history of Pridnestrovie. The First Pridnestrovian team shot the feature film "Golden Carriage" in 2024. Filming took place in Tiraspol, Bendery and Rashkov. Short social videos are one of the channel's priorities: in this format, the audience is talked about the most pressing topics. The First Pridnestrovian TV Channel actively collaborated with Russian federal channels in 2024, helping to make stories and films about the events in the republic.

By May 9, work had been done to make thematic videos. 4 holiday episodes were aired on Victory Day, in which residents of the republic spoke three official languages.

The TV channel entered into a licensing agreement with the Mosfilm company in order to show films about the Great Patriotic War without violating copyright.

The head of the parliamentary Education Committee Igor Buga a year ago asked the editors to focus on historical reviews, preserving memory and patriotic education in preparation for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The heads of state media managed to organize the work so that these topics were heard regularly during the reporting period. Radio 1 is no exception. On the Day of the Beginning of the Great Patriotic War, a large special issue was broadcast with military historian Vladimir Mayer, “June 22, exactly at 4 o’clock…” with a detailed account of the military actions in our region in the first days of the war. New programs were prepared for the anniversary of the Victory in three official languages. there was a large thematic broadcast with live broadcasts of correspondents and an evening radio play on May 9.

The state radio paid special attention to information support for the events of the Year of Family Values. All current events in the life of the republic were always in the spotlight. The protest rallies of Pridnestrovians against the introduction of duties by Moldova were covered in three languages on both radio stations: “Radio 1” and “Radio 1 Plus”. The events of the gas crisis in addition. The political sphere is regularly covered within the framework of the project "Evening Watch" in the weekly section "Strictly about politics": political scientist and parliamentarian Andrei Safonov discusses and analyzes events in the region and in the world with the hosts. On Saturdays, the weekly final program "Parliamentary Week" is also broadcast – about the work of the Supreme Council.

The most famous projects of the First Radio – "Fresh on the First" and "Evening Watch" – continue to be broadcast, despite one of the main problems of all media – the lack of personnel. In these projects, the composition of the hosts has completely or partially changed, including young staff, but they organically entered the mainstream of the programs and picked up the working baton, noted the editor-in-chief of "Radio 1" Natalia Zhelobaeva-Kozhuhar.

The editor-in-chief Alla Ivanchenko is responsible for the work of the "News of Pridnestrovie" republican information agency. She noted in her report that the operational capabilities of the information agency website were improved by updating the platform version. Almost 9.5 thousand messages and materials of various formats were published during the year. The number of views of the electronic website of the "News of Pridnestrovie" republican information agency in 2024 is 8.1 million, which is 16% higher than the previous period.

The news agency actively covered the topic of economic pressure on Pridnestrovie from Moldova. A text broadcast of the Congress of Deputies of all levels was conducted in real time: a step-by-step chronological report from the scene. Publications on the activities of the President, the Supreme Council and the Government continue to occupy a prominent place in the news feed as well as coverage of traditional and important dates for the republic.

Deputy Vadim Kravchuk asked Alla Ivanchenko how events in the regions of Pridnestrovie are covered. The editor-in-chief said that the news agency closely cooperates with the correspondent offices of the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel.

In addition to the website the news agency's materials are also published in social networks and instant messengers. An increase in the number of subscribers and views of publications was noted in 2024. For example, the annual growth of subscribers is 3 thousand in Telegram. Moreover, more than 500 channels and 130 chats in Telegram systematically quote materials from "News of Pridnestrovie" information agency, according to the report.

The editors-in-chief of the publications included in the Pridnestrovian Newspaper State Institution also presented their reports to the deputies.

The relevance of printed publications today, in the era of social networks and instant messengers, should not raise questions: news feeds in publics are scrolled through and forgotten, and you can study history from newspaper archives – this is always the quintessence of the life of a republic or city.

Three republican newspapers – Pridnestrovie, Adevarul Nistryan and Gomin – tell about the events in Pridnestrovie on their pages in three official languages: Russian, Moldovan and Ukrainian, respectively. As the chief editors of the newspapers Alexander Karasev, Lyudmila Soltan and Alisa Kokhanova noted in their reports, the coverage of the activities of government bodies, political, economic, social, cultural and other spheres of life in the republic is of primary importance. According to parliamentarian Grigory Dyachenko, the pages of "The Pridnestrovie" newspaper should pay more attention to interviews with elected representatives.

Chief editor Alexander Karasev emphasized that this remark will be taken into account in the future work of the editorial board.

Print media continue to cover the implementation of the State Development Strategy for 2019-2026. The pages of the republican publications captured for history how the events of the Year of Family and Family Values, the anniversary of the Great Victory took place. The editorial boards are preparing for another important date – the 35th anniversary of the PMR.

Deputies of the Supreme Council approved all 6 reports of the chief editors of state media.
