The Report on Activity

The 3rd session of the VI convocation is closed. The results of legislative activity of the parliament have been summed up. 17 plenary sessions and 32 meetings of the Presidium of the Supreme Council were held from January to July 2017. In the first half of the year, 472 resolutions were signed by the President and 206 laws were officially published. Among them – there is a number of new basic documents. These are the laws "On road safety", OSAGO, "On public hearings", "On stabilization of the banking sector", "On electronic document and electronic signature", as well as a package of migration laws. The lawmakers ratified the agreement between the Government of PMR and the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia on mutual visa-free travel of citizens of the two republics, as well as an agreement on friendship, cooperation and partnership between the PMR and the Republic of South Ossetia. 217 legislative initiatives were submitted to the Supreme Council during the spring session. Their authors are the President, the Government, the Constitutional, Supreme, Arbitration courts, the prosecutor's office, the Ombudsman, the city councils and the Federation of Trade Unions of Pridnestrovie.
