The Report on Activity

Deputy corps has discussed amendments to the law "On charity activity and charitable organizations", prepared by the previous composition of the Committee on Public Associations. The authors proposed that the functions of the Ministry of Justice control over financial and economic activities of charitable organizations. By the adoption of the document in the second reading of the relevant committee, chaired by Igor Buga proposed to organize the list of information that charitable organizations are required to submit to the Ministry of Justice. The list includes a report on the activities of the charitable organization. In addition, the Committee spoke of the necessity to provide a report on the financial and economic activities authorized by the Government of the executive body of state power. The report should include public information about the sources of income of the charitable organization, the use of the property and the expenditure of funds.

Taking into account the amendments of the profile committee the law-in-draft was adopted in the second reading.
