13.02.2024

The head of the state administration of Grigoriopol district and Grigoriopol reported on the work for 2023. The reporting meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov and parliamentarians representing the interests of Grigoriopol residents.

Oleg Gabuzha spoke during the report about the results achieved, the existing problems of the district and highlighted the main directions of development for the coming period. The local budget received 173.6 million rubles in 2023, which is 37.2 million rubles more than last year. Social, cultural and sports projects are being implemented in Grigoriopol district, the availability of preschool, general and additional education is increasing, and work is underway to improve the infrastructure of the region. As Oleg Gabuzha noted, the river bottom is being cleared to install a pier for the future rowing base. It was emphasized at the reporting meeting that this project is important for the city. It has been implemented since last year as part of the Capital Investment Fund program. The head of the district holds meetings with representatives of public organizations, to which heads of various district services are invited, to identify and find solutions to pressing issues and problems.

“Our main goal, like all representatives of government bodies, is the fulfillment of social obligations. The payment of salaries, pensions, benefits and other socially significant areas is of paramount importance. Unfortunately, the main issue is the lack of funds in every administration. It is important to maintain the infrastructure, improve the quality of our roads, social facilities, we spend a certain amount of money on this”, said the head of the district Oleg Gabuzha.

The head of the state administration of Grigoriopol voiced the problem of a shortage of teachers in rural schools and kindergartens, as well as the issue of class sizes. The head of the district spoke about the introduction of new standards for transporting children to educational institutions. The district needs to purchase 8 buses to transport 444 students, as well as build and equip about 14 bus stops in accordance with the rules and regulations.

The issue of gardening in populated areas was discussed in the course of the meeting. The need to include these land plots in tax circulation was discussed. It was problematic previously for village residents to contact the republican authorities to obtain permits for plots for vegetable gardening. The Supreme Council adopted amendments to the Land Code and expanded the powers of rural and township Councils of People's Deputies so that they could allocate plots for gardening from among agricultural lands not only within the boundaries of the settlement, but also beyond their borders.

“A legislative initiative was developed on the instructions of the President, after his meeting in the village of Tashlyk, where the issue of vegetable gardens was raised. We received a positive conclusion from the Government. The law has already been adopted and is awaiting entry into force. It defines all the parameters for the provision of vegetable gardens and the receipt of tax revenues from them. According to the structure of gardening, this is already the authority of the Government,” noted deputy for constituency No. 7 “Central” of Grigoriopol district and Grigoriopol Oleg Leontyev.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the high level of interaction between the state administration of Grigoriopol and various government agencies and departments.

“The Grigoriopol district is an interesting, original, multinational, friendly district, this is reflected in the relationships between the head and the deputies of the city district council, and the chairman of the city district council, and the deputies of the Supreme Council. The Capital Investment Fund includes a rowing base, a karting track, and school No. 2. Some may think that a rowing base is not needed, but this is an investment in the future. You build it now, and it will work for decades. Children will be constantly engaged in rowing at the rowing base,” noted the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, concluding the meeting.

The President thanked the head of the state administration, deputies of the Supreme and district councils, employees of the administration and municipal departments for the work done and the desire to develop Grigoriopol district and Grigoriopol. The President positively assessed the work of the state administration last year.
