The Government has drafted a law on the Electronic Document and Electronic Signature. The norms of the current legislation do not provide legal regulation of this segment of relationships. The legal gap does not allow full use of the potential capabilities of information systems. Electronic signatures in Pridnestrovie are used today mainly in isolated corporate information systems. For their widespread use, it is important to envisage the development of a single space for electronic signatures in Pridnestrovie. The work on a new law-in-draft for the Republic "On an electronic document and electronic signature" was conducted for two years. As it was explained by the head of the parliamentary committee for public associations, sports, information and youth policy Igor Buga, on the basis of the State Communication Service will create a root certification center that will accredit organizations that have decided to implement the system of electronic signatures. The law-in-draft is developed by analogy with the Russian one, which has been successfully applied in Russia for more than ten years. Igor Buga believes that the introduction of the system of electronic signatures in the republic is a significant jerk forward in the sphere of document circulation.
