The main parameters did not change

The Supreme Council adopted the draft of the country's main financial document for the next year in the second reading. On the eve there was a meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance. Parliamentarians, in conjunction with representatives of the government, as well as local authorities, discussed in detail each of the 80 amendments that were received. Thanks to well-coordinated and continuous work on the document, a common opinion was reached on most of them.

Today the discussion was prompted by proposed norm by Galina Antyufeeva. The legislator proposed allocating subsidies from local budgets to pay for housing and communal services to citizens whose incomes are below the subsistence level. As the author of the law-in-draft noted during the plenary session, such a mechanism previously operated in the capital. The legislator supposes: it is necessary to introduce this practice throughout the republic.

Considering the social orientation of this amendment, the parliamentarians supported it. When considering the document in the second reading, the amount of resources allocated for financing municipal entities was determined. In general, the main parameters of the budget have not changed.

The third, final reading of the law-in-draft "On the Republican Budget 2018" is scheduled for Tuesday, December 19. Parliamentarians will consider state targeted programs.
