The basic concept of the 2022 budget is retained

The basic concept of the republican budget for the next year - ensuring all social obligations - has been retained. This was announced by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov, commenting on the consideration and adoption of the draft budget in the second reading. The budget is balanced in terms of income and expenses, respectively, payments in 2022 will be made in full and on time.

“Traditionally, parliamentarians in the second reading consider the text part of the budget, it must be coordinated with the parameters that were adopted in the first reading. All decisions of the first reading should be spelled out in the text part and, accordingly, the text part prepares us for considering the adoption of the budget in the third reading. We are considering and approving directly the figures for the target areas, for the financing of government bodies and other areas of budget spending. All applications are approved in the third reading”, the Speaker of the Parliament explained.

Alexander Korshunov emphasized that, despite the small possibilities of the budget, the Supreme Council adopted several state target programs for the next year. These are programs in the health sector, including a new one for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases; there are programs for the development and support of the real sector and business activity.

A conceptual decision was made in the first reading to keep construction in the Capital Investment Fund. The budget will finance capital construction and repairs of catering units in educational institutions under the Capital Investment Fund (261 million rubles). The purchase of medical equipment will be carried out by specialists of the Ministry of Health, and this direction will be financed under other articles of the republican budget.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR emphasized: all the work was done excellently and the deputy corps worked quickly and efficiently.
