30.09.2022

"Veterans of War, Labor and Armed Forces of Pridnestrovie" republican public organization "Veterans of War, Labor and Armed Forces of Pridnestrovie" is 30. The holiday was held at the Palace of the Republic on the eve of the Day of the Elderly. The guests of the event rightly called this date a holiday of experience and wisdom. The generation of veterans defended the freedom and independence of a large country during the Great Patriotic War, restored the destroyed economy, did not stay away from the tragic events for Pridnestrovie in the early 1990s.

Labor veteran Nina Prokofievna Kashinyan is one of the 43 women of Dnestrovsk who came to Tiraspol in 1991 and joined the Women's Strike Committee.

Representatives of the authorities came today to express gratitude to labor veterans for their indifference in different periods of the country's history. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva congratulated members of the organization on the anniversary date.

“The organization brought together the best of the best, those who wanted to be useful to both the state and society. You are the golden fund of our country. You have written many bright pages in the history of our state. The names of many of you appear in the history of the PMR, thanks to you our republic has come into existence. I thank you all for everything. We have great respect for your organization and cooperate together; we have held and will continue to hold many joint events. These events become bright and interesting thanks to you,” said Galina Antyufeeva.

The vice-speaker read out a greeting address on behalf of the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky and conveyed congratulations on behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and parliamentarians.

“You raised the economy, built and created, you were able to preserve the spiritual potential of the people, its moral core for the present and future generations. The main legacy that you generously share is wisdom and invaluable life experience. It is possible to ensure the progress and dynamics of the development of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic only by maintaining the continuity of traditions and national values you are the bearers” says Alexander Korshunov in his welcome address.

"Veterans of war, labor and armed forces of Pridnestrovie" republican public organization unites more than 20 thousand people of retirement age. 8 structural subdivisions work in towns and districts of the republic. A minute of silence today honored the memory of veterans who have passed away: they are participants in the Great Patriotic War, home front workers, former prisoners of concentration camps, residents of besieged Leningrad, pensioners, veterans of the Armed Forces, repressed.

Svetlana Bakhchevan noted the interaction of the veterans' organization with all state authorities and the support provided by the deputies of the Supreme Council. Public relations are maintained with the Russian Embassy in Moldova and Rossotrudnichestvo.

Artem Naumenkov donated a set of office equipment to the republican organization as a gift from the Russian House.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the formation of the "Veterans of War, Labor and the Armed Forces of Pridnestrovie" organization was awarded the Order of Honor. Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva presented state awards to distinguished employees of veteran organizations.
