The Organization of Dnestrovsk became a member of the Council of Veterans

The reporting conference of the Republican Council of War, Labor and Armed Forces Veterans gathered about 70 delegates from across the republic. Representatives of the government, Presidential Administration, and heads of state administrations of cities and districts were invited to the meeting. The Supreme Council was represented at the conference by Deputy Sergey Vasilyev.

The Republican veteran organization consists of 7 city and district organizations. Today, in the framework of the conference, the eighth cell was taken into the union - the Council of War Veterans, Labor and Armed Forces of the city of Dnestrovsk. Totally, the organization consists of about 2,500 participants of the Great Patriotic War: 96 front-line soldiers, 26 disabled people, 1600 rear workers, as well as widows, blockade and prisoners of concentration camps.

Their memory, the conference participants observed a minute of silence.

The main objective of the organization is the social protection of participants in the war. As it was noted during the conference, social activists interact with the city and republican authorities.

The Minister of Education Tatyana Loginova thanked members of veteran organizations in cities and regions for their contribution to the patriotic education of the younger generation. According to her, many educational and patriotic events are held with their participation: these are actions, meetings, conversations and round tables.

She presented to the head of the organization a letter of thanks for active participation in the political and cultural life of the republic.
