Members of the Presidium decided on the date of the next plenary session. Its implementation is scheduled for February 22. Deputies considered about 40 issues. The whole laws unit was devoted to social support of citizens. The legislative initiative, developed by Vadim Krasnoselsky in the status of the deputy, together with his colleague Oleg Bayev, aims to support people whose children were killed in 1992. It was proposed to extend the list of beneficiaries, adding parents whose children did not protect Pridnestrovie in arms, but were killed by Moldavian aggressors. As it was noted at the last meeting of the presidium by the chairman of the parliamentary committee Sergei Cheban, according to preliminary data, there are about 169 of these parents in the republic; 9 of them lost minors during the Moldovan aggression. Among the authors of the proposed rules - to provide this category of citizens discount on utility services within the social norm.
At the end of the meeting of the Presidium the speaker Alexander Shcherba told about the results of the inter-parliamentary meeting held the day before. Earlier: a delegation of deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation headed by the chairman of the Committee on the Union of Independent States, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov visited the Supreme Council. Pridnestrovian Deputies received an invitation from the Russian colleagues to take part in parliamentary hearings, which will take place at the site of the State Duma February 20. As part of the hearing the issues that compatriots living in different countries raise will be discussed.
