The Important Law was promptly adopted

Provisions of the law "On some features of the calculations for natural gas" are in force almost ten years in the legislation framework of Pridnestrovie. Special gas account accumulates funds that the population and legal entities pay for the use of natural gas. In view of permanent state budget deficit the money is often used by special accounts for payment of pensions and salaries to state employees. There are so-called gas component in the energy tariffs. This goes to energy supply enterprises of the republic (electrical, heating networks, water canal), which are designed to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers, hot and cold water, heat and gas. This can not be achieved without maintenance of networks and equipment in good technical condition.

Previously, the share which was prepared for operation of the fuel and energy complex, was determined by regulations. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky by proposed amendments to the basic law submits its definition at the legislative level. The President submitted the law-in-draft in the regime of legislative necessity. The Minister for Industry and Regional Development Nikolai Gliga that outlined goals and objectives of the law-in-draft presented it at the Parliament. He noted the lack of financial resources for the operation of life-supporting enterprises of the republic, for the realization of their basic functions.

Since these entities are of strategic importance for the economic security of the republic, Chairman of the profile of the parliamentary Economy Committee Alexander Korshunov called the law-in-draft "an important for the economy of the country." That's why deputies considered it in two readings by voting for the three introduced in the draft law amendments.

Adopted by the Supreme Council the Law was directed to the President for signature.
