The Online Meeting with Russian Parliamentarian

Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Artem Turov held an online meeting with Russian compatriots in Pridnestrovie. It was helped by the specialists of the Contact Center at the Pridnestrovian State University and Rossotrudnichestvo. The message of the President of the Russian Federation to the Federal Assembly, the party projects of "United Russia" on the territory of Pridnestrovie and how to attract young people to participate in the elections was discussed on the day of Russian parliamentarism. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, deputies of city district councils, members of the Youth Parliament and the party "Obnovlenie", representatives of the Union of Russian Communities of the PMR.

Welcoming the participants of the online meeting, the Speaker of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov congratulated everyone on the day of parliamentarism and thanked the State Duma deputies for the opportunity to discuss important issues of interaction for the Russian Federation and the PMR.

The chairman of the Pridnestrovian parliament recalled that the Supreme Council has been working for many years to harmonize the Pridnestrovian legislation with the Russian one, relying on the valuable experience of Russian deputies.

The youth representatives were interested in the question - what projects of the United Russia party can be implemented on the territory of Pridnestrovie. Artem Turov recalled that Pridnestrovian compatriots are actively involved in many Russian humanitarian projects, such as "The Victory Dictation", admission to Russian universities and others. There are more ideas.

The Russian parliamentarian answered the question of compatriots how to become a member of the United Russia party. This problem is being discussed, solution for Pridnestrovians will be found and announced in the near future. Members of the Youth Election Commissions presented their projects implemented on the territory of the republic to attract young people to the electoral process and asked the State Duma deputy why the younger generation needs to take part in the elections.

He emphasized: taking part in the elections, a person is responsible for the decision made about who will represent his interests in the Government.

The conversation between the Pridnestrovians and the Russian parliamentarian lasted for about an hour and a half. Compatriots thanked Artem Turov for attention to the problems and assistance of the Russian Federation to compatriots and citizens of Russia living in Pridnestrovie.
