There will be repeated and additional elections of deputies in Pridnestrovie

The Central Election Commission discussed preparations for additional and repeated elections of deputies of local Soviets of People's Deputies. It is scheduled for October 28. This is reported by the official website of the Central Election Commission. Pridnestrovian residents living in Slobodzeia, Bendery and Dnestrovsk, all in eight electoral districts, will make their choice. The election campaign itself will start already at the end of this month - no later than August 28.

Another important point of the forthcoming elections is the work of district election commissions. Taking into account the experience of past election campaigns, including Russian ones, the Pridnestrovian Central Election Commission updated the work sheet of a member of a district commission, which is a step-by-step instruction in the work of election commissions.

In preparation for the October elections, the Central Election Commission approved an updated list of information on registered candidates to be published in state and municipal print media, expanding the list of information on candidates who will be brought to the voter through newspapers.

The commission discussed the issue of preventing disputes at the stage of nominating candidates. Today, the emphasis was placed on the correct completion of the protocol on the results of collecting signatures in support of the candidate. A number of forms of election documentation for additional (repeated) elections of deputies were brought into conformity with adopted today resolution.
