Personification of the triumph of life, love and mercy

On April 28, all Orthodox worlds celebrate the Bright Resurrection of Christ. This is the main of the Christian holidays. Solemn services on Easter night are held in all the churches of the republic.

The Archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa led the service at the Nativity of Christ Cathedral in Tiraspol. Hundreds of parishioners came to meet the bright Orthodox holiday in the cathedral. Residents and guests of Tiraspol went through a procession around the cathedral. Vladyka Sawa delivered the greeting “Christ is Risen!”.

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov with his wife and children, parliamentarian Oleg Petrik, representatives of the government, ministries and departments took part in the festive Easter service.

On the occasion of the celebration of the Bright Resurrection of Christ, the speaker addressed congratulations to the residents of the republic.

Easter cakes and Easter eggs are blessed on Easter night, they become the constant attributes of the festive table.
