All work planned for 2023 in district No. 1 “Solnechny” in Bendery has been completed under the program of the Fund for the Execution of Voters' Orders. Parliamentarian for the constituency Alexander Korshunov noted that the funding was aimed at repairing sidewalks and local areas. The old broken asphalt with deep holes near houses No. 37 and 39 in 40 Let Pobeda Street has been replaced. Puddles that appeared in the rain became an obstacle to the stop previously, said Alexander Korshunov, so it was decided to pave the adjacent areas with paving slabs.
A pedestrian zone leading to the road has been landscaped near house No. 37. Part of the retaining wall and the old steps had to be demolished to make it easier for residents of the area to move around. The pedestrian path was widened and old benches were replaced.
A large area near house No. 32 in 40 Let Pobeda Street was paved with paving slabs this year. A path was laid out from tiles along the playground in addition. Stories from residents about the old asphalt near the house, which caused many to fall, are a thing of the past.
There are still many potholes that cause inconvenience to residents of the district from the yard area on the way to the kindergarten and the store. There are tasks that local authorities face, and there are problems that the deputies of the Supreme Council and the Bendery City Council for the Solar District can solve, says parliamentarian Alexander Korshunov. The deputy emphasizes that all the district’s tasks are carried out through joint efforts, even with the involvement of sponsorship and personal funds, which are directed to the local projects “Path” and “Fence”, for example.
A new area for passage and travel to house No. 1 “B” in Engels Street was built at the expense of the Execution of Orders Fund, this year. Access to the yard was only on the left side of the house previously. The area to the right of the house was cleared and paved with paving slabs at the request of residents. Parking has been arranged.
The Voter Mandate Fund has been operating for 6 years. Money is directed to problems of districts in cities and regions that have not been resolved for years, or even decades. Dozens of houses, kilometers of sidewalks and adjacent areas have been renovated in all electoral districts of Pridnestrovie, parks have been created and children’s playgrounds have been equipped using funds from the deputy mandate fund since 2018. Deputies by means of the Foundation continue to help first-aid posts, schools, kindergartens and cultural centers purchase equipment and even furniture.
Money for the Mandate Fund program will be allocated for next year. This direction of financing is included in the draft budget 2024.
