Constituency No. 25 "Zapadny": reception of citizens on personal issues

12.06.2025

Residents of Constituency No. 25 "Zapadny" came to see their deputy to find a solution to personal and pressing issues – with this goal. Vice Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva listened to each of those who approached her. More than 20 people approached the deputy.

The issues of social support, paperwork, privatization of housing, as well as proposals regarding the current legislation were among the topics raised at the meeting.

In particular, a representative of the sports organization Erlan Limited Liability Company voiced a problem related to the taxation of land under sports facilities. We are talking about five open tennis courts that are used for physical education and health events, training and preparation of athletes. It is not included in the list of objects exempt from land tax despite the fact that the facility is recognized as a sports facility.

According to the Law of the PMR "On Land Tax", organizations that have physical education and health and sports facilities on their balance sheets are exempt from paying the tax. These include the main objects – fields, stadiums, halls, swimming pools, skating rinks, motor tracks, "intended for holding health, physical education and sports events" (clause g-1, article 1). However, there is no specific mention of tennis courts in the list, which entails legal complications in their taxation. Andrei  Velichinsky said that tennis in Pridnestrovie has a serious school and international achievements.

Galina Antyufeeva noted that the situation requires a detailed analysis with the involvement of relevant specialists. Additional circumstances and nuances were revealed during the reception that need to be studied in more depth. Andrei Velichinsky was invited to a separate meeting for a substantive discussion and search for possible solutions.

Not a single request was left without attention during the reception. A number of issues were dealt with immediately, while others will require time and a comprehensive approach. The main thing is that everyone received feedback, and not a single situation was left without a response.
