The Operational Group is 22!

Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Shcherba took part in the solemn event dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the creation of the Operational Group of Russian Forces. This is the assignee of the 14th All-Arms Guards Army.

The first comrade in military service was congratulated by Colonel Dmitry Zelenkov, commander and chief of Operational Group.

The welcome address of the head of state on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the Operational Group of Russian Forces was read by the Prime Minister Alexander Martynov. He presented state awards to the distinguished servicemen of the operational group - the Order of Friendship and the medal "For Strengthening International Cooperation".

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba congratulated persons of the celebration on behalf of the representative authorities.

The festive atmosphere for the participants of the solemn event was created by the artists of the vocal and instrumental ensemble of "The Dniester" of the Minister of Interior Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
