The next plenary session of the Parliament, which was scheduled for February 15, has been postponed to February 22. This decision was made in the course of the meeting by the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The Presidium voted to include the legislations prepared by parliamentary committees for consideration on the agenda of the plenary session on February 22 today. The report on the activities of the Arbitration Court of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in 2022 and the approval of the decision on the appointment of the Chairman of the Arbitration Court of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic are among the identified issues. The Committee on Legislation, among others, prepared for consideration by the Parliament a package of legislative initiatives to combat corruption, the Committee on Regional Policy and Housing and Public Utilities – legislations on the status of local deputies, on drinking water supply and amendments to the Housing Code. The parliamentary commission on mandates, regulations and parliamentary ethics put on the agenda of the plenary session the Calendar plan for the preparation of legislations for 2023, which must be approved by the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
