Traditionally members of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction considered the issues on the agenda of the meeting of the Supreme Council October 4. A meeting on the eve of the discussion was held with the head of the Government, Alexander Martynov. Issues of improving the interaction of parliamentarians with the executive authority were the subject of discussion.
Among the legislations submitted for consideration by the deputy corps there are changes to the Constitution of the PMR and the Law "On the Constitutional Court of the PMR". Legislative initiatives were developed by a group of deputies, consisting of 16 parliamentarians. The authors propose to clarify the powers of the Constitutional Court of the Republic.
During the forthcoming plenary session, the Supreme Council intends to adopt a resolution approving the estimates of revenues and expenditures of the central bank of the PMR for 2017. Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Alexander Korshunov informed that the bank optimized a number of employees. In addition, the cost of administrative and economic activities has been reduced. As a result, the estimate is significantly reduced.
Alexander Korshunov told his colleagues about the first meeting on budgeting 2018. The document will be submitted to the Supreme Council in early November. The chairman of the faction, Petr Pasat, called on his colleagues to send their proposals on increasing the revenues of the republican budget for 2018 and reducing its expenditure.
