Socially protected items were funded in full, targeted programs were implemented despite the pandemic and a number of restrictive measures last year. The Head of the State Administration of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk Oleg Dovgopol reported this to the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, presenting a report on the work for 2021. The dialogue took place online. The deputies of the Supreme Council, representing the interests of the inhabitants of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk  had an opportunity to ask questions of interest.

Last year all the planned activities within the framework of the Capital Investment Fund were completed as Oleg Dovgopol emphasized. The head of the state administration called the completion of the construction of municipal secondary correctional educational institution number 2, the overhaul of the "Ryabinushka" municipal children's educational institution and the reconstruction of the stadium near the capital's school number 18 as the most significant. The mayor of the city expressed his gratitude to the deputy of the Supreme Council Andrei Mezhinsky who according to Oleg Dovgopol took an active part in the development of the project and its approval with the residents of the Oktyabrsky microdistrict, as well as in the approval of funding for this facility. The parliamentarian thanked the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on behalf of the deputies, the public council and residents of the Komsomolsky district for taking the issue of restoring the stadium under personal control, and the Head of the state administration for the interaction and support of this project.

The deputy of the "Komsomolsky" constituency raised the issue of the future fate of the underground pedestrian crossing, located near the square of the Aviators. It has not been used for its intended purpose for many years, housing and communal services are forced to periodically take out garbage from there, Andrey Mezhinsky outlined the problem. It was noted in the course of the online meeting that it did not seem appropriate to restore the underpass. For example, this object can be revived as a commercial one. The meeting participants talked about expanding the road junction at the intersection of Yunosti and Odesskaya streets so that there would be no traffic problems during rush hours. Money for the expansion of the section of the road is provided in the republican budget of this year.

Parliamentarians raised the problem of transport accessibility. There are 30 routes of regular urban communication in the transport sector of Tiraspol: 22 automobile and 8 electric transport. An average of 22 trolleybuses and 130 fixed-route taxis run daily, Oleg Dovgopol said.

They talked at the online meeting about the possible replenishment of the transport fleet, including electric buses. It seems expedient to create a municipal enterprise on the basis of the current Tiraspol trolleybus department, which will fully cover the sphere of passenger transportation.

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov was interested in the result of the implementation of the law on concessional lending to municipalities adopted at the end of last year by the Parliament. According to the mayor of the city, thanks to the adoption of such a measure, it was possible to resolve emergency issues in the housing and communal sector, which were formed due to strong winds. Credit funds were attracted in the amount of 4.7 million rubles at 1% for Housing and Maintenance Management Company, the remaining 9% is financed by the republican budget, Oleg Dovgopol noted. The money went to the operational renovation of the housing stock.

As part of the report, Oleg Dovgopol praised the work of teachers of educational institutions who conduct online education for children in the context of a pandemic. Teachers were trained to work on different educational platforms, lessons were developed in various subjects. All educational institutions of the city are provided with computers and the Internet, the Head of state administration noted.

They talked about the work of the association of homeowners, garage cooperatives, housing and communal services. The topic of commissioning gaming complexes and their certification was raised. The President and deputies emphasized the importance of ensuring safety when using playgrounds. In addition, issues of improving the tourist attractiveness of the capital, landscaping, and landscaping were raised. According to the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, it is necessary to plant two others instead of one removed tree. This principle should be enshrined in the legal environment Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.

It was noted at the meeting that this year’s Capital Investment Fund includes such facilities as the stadium and the territory of school number 5, the Pobeda park, the Aviators square, the House of Culture and the boiler room of the club in the village of Kremenchug, the Dniester stadium, kindergartens number 2, 5, 33, 44 and school number 9. The catering unit will be repaired in the medical town. A museum complex will be created in the center of Tiraspol, the embankment will be improved. Work will continue in the Catherine Park, where a petting zoo will appear.
