Direct dialogue of parliamentarians with voters is crucial to their legislative work, as well as legal representation to provide them with the confidence of citizens in government. Live communication with the citizens of the republic, study of their views, needs and aspirations are the basis for laws developed and adopted by people's deputies. It also provides the deputies of different levels the opportunity to keep abreast of events taking place in the republic, legislative activities to do everything possible to improve the lives of Pridnestrovians.
As deputies noted in the course of the meeting with voters in the current environment to overcome the crisis in the economy, and as a result, the tense situation in the social sphere, of particular importance is the consolidation of society, to unite the efforts of the authorities.
Deputy of the Supreme Council, chairman of the parliamentary faction "Obnovlenie" Peter Pasat urged the audience to bring together government and society to overcome the current socio-economic crisis.
Galina Antyufeeva, answering the question, why the anti-crisis law-in-draft was not supported by parliamentarians, said that the root cause was the intention of the government at the legislative level to establish the possibility of appointment to the enterprise of any form of ownership of the external manager. This was the main "stumbling block" in the dispute between the legislative and executive branches of government. However, deputies offer their way out of the crisis. Its provisions are spelled out in the law-in-draft "On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the economy of PMR". Its authors were members of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Alexander Korshunov and Peter Pasat.
Voters in the course of meeting with people's deputies were also interested in issues of implementation of the amnesty in connection with the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory and 25th Anniversary of PMR the work of economic entities of the Republic, first of all local, the rumors about closing hospitals of Dubossary and others.
