General requirements for parking

The number of vehicles in the republic has grown significantly in recent years, so the issue of organizing parking lots and parking spaces remains topical. These are mainly cities where car owners often leave their cars in the courtyards of apartment buildings that create inconvenience for the residents of the house. In addition, there are situations when, it is difficult for ambulances, firefighters or special equipment of housing and communal services to drive up to houses due to the congestion of cars in the courtyards.

The provisions of the bill determine the legal basis for organizing parking lots, and also entrust the state administration with the authority to create public parking lots. At the same time, the required number of parking spaces, according to the law-in-draft, will be determined in accordance with urban planning standards.

The deputy corps supported the additions to the law "On road safety" and adopted the law-in-draft in the first reading. Work on the document will continue taking into account all the comments and suggestions made during the discussion.
