Society of the Blind of Pridnestrovie is 30

The "Society of the Blind of Pridnestrovie" public organization of the republic turned 30 this year. Its main goal is to unite people with visual impairments, help them adapt to life, and create conditions for social and professional fulfillment.

A gala concert in honor of the 30th anniversary of the organization, which brought together honored guests, members of the organization and their friends was held today. Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Ilona Tyuryaeva was among the honored guests. The parliamentarian has been helping blind and visually impaired residents of Tiraspol for many years. Visually impaired people live, work, undergo rehabilitation and play sports, there is also the enterprise "Rassvet" where visually impaired people produce extension cords and clothespins in the district No. 28 "Central" in the capital. On behalf of the parliament, Ilona Tyuryaeva delivered a welcoming address and presented certificates of honor, noting the merits of active members of the society and their contribution to the development of significant social initiatives.

The organization has become an important part of the lives of many people over 30 years. The "Society of the Blind of Pridnestrovie " implements many projects aimed at improving the quality of life of blind and visually impaired citizens in the cities of the republic, organizes training courses, cultural events and sports competitions today.
