Public Discussion of the Budget

Bendery held public hearings on the draft budget of the town for 2019. Approximately 31 million rubles will be allocated for the repair of facilities through the Capital Investment Fund. Total repair work is planned to be carried out at 12 facilities under the jurisdiction of the city authorities, as well as in some institutions of the health care and education system of republican subordination.

This year, as the head of the state administration Roman Ivanchenko said, the plans include the completion of the repair and rehabilitation works of the city basin and the improvement of the park Gorky to them. There should also appear mini-football grounds in the park, at the city stadium, in the "Silk" neighborhood. Approximately 4 million rubles were directed to trolleybus replenishment.

In general, the town’s budget will continue to be in short supply in 2019, said the first deputy head of the state administration in Bendery Lyudmila Shelenkova. The target for income is 222.5 million rubles, expenses are projected at 264 million. The difference is planned to be covered by transfers from the republican treasury.

The head of the state administration Roman Ivanchenko is sure that the city can once again become self-sufficient in the future.

Bendery City Council plans to submit a draft budget for consideration on January 31. The head of the city emphasized that prior to the adoption of the main financial document of the city, municipal institutions will be financed in accordance with the approved temporary order (1/12), while salaries will be paid in a timely manner.

Deputies of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, Anton Onufrienko and Yury Kucherenko took part in the discussion of the draft budget -2019.

The people's Deputies during the hearings, raised before the city authorities the issue of compensation for benefits to residents of cooperative houses, about a hundred in Bendery. It is not excluded that this year the mechanism of the state returning funds to tenants of housing cooperatives in the form of an experiment will be tested on one of the cooperative houses.
