The Reasonable Decision

The package of legislations proposed by the President in the regime of legislative necessity was presented by the Chairman of the Committee of Prices and Antimonopoly Activity Vitaly Ulitka. He noted the need for the adoption of amendments to the laws "On Protection of Competition in PMR", "On natural monopolies", "On the domestic trade", as well as to the Administrative Code, concerning the regulation of legal relations in the sphere of natural monopolies and competition. Before discussing the proposed changes the Chairman of the Supreme Council Vadim Krasnoselsky voiced content of the request addressed to the Constitutional Court. It states that the Parliament in accordance with constitutional norms shall suspend the consideration of other legislations until a decision is taken on draft laws made to the regime of legislative necessity. "Regime" today 279 out of 505 legislations presented for consideration of the Supreme Council for the past 4 years. The speaker explained that the president's request to question the Supreme Council of the legislative activity.

A package of legislations in the course of voting was submitted to the legislative regime regarding the necessity and regulation of legal relations in the sphere of natural monopolies and competition, it was rejected by the deputies.
