Summarize the practice, establish uniform requirements

Working meeting devoted to the improvement of the conditional early release of convicts was held on the parliamentary platform. The speaker of the parliament Alexander Shcherba, chairman of the parliamentary committee on legislation Galina Antyufeeva, the PMR prosecutor Anatoly Guretsky, the head of the Supreme Court Vladimir Rymar, representatives of the State Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and the Commissioner for Human Rights in Pridnestrovie took part in the discussion of the implementation of this mechanism.

The President instructed parliamentarians to work on this issue. This is the second working meeting devoted to the discussion of this topic. The legislation in force in this part needs to be improved. As it was noted during the last meeting, it is necessary to work out a uniform approach of the authorities to the functioning of the conditional early relief mechanisms.

Following the meeting, Alexander Shcherba noted that parliamentarians need to develop a legislative initiative that improves this sphere of legal relations. Representatives of the judicial community, the prosecutor's office, the President and Government will be invited to discuss it.
