The First Deputies Concerns

The first Pridnestrovian Deputies, members of the consultative assembly under the head of the legislature, expressed extreme concern about the consequences that can have public statements of the possible dissolution of the Supreme Council of State. This question was first on the agenda of the next meeting of the consultative meeting.

Chronology of recent statements of the President on the dissolution of parliament has resulted in the speech of the deputy Chairman of the consultative assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies Anna Volkova. It was on October 22 at a meeting of the president in Rybnitsa, and the summer of this year established the newspaper "I am pridnestrovian". It stated the possibility of the dissolution of the Supreme Council at the end of the first year of his term.

Deputies expressed the view that their attitude to the head of state must express the prosecutor's office of the Republic on the subject of whether these statements of the president violation of applicable law or not. Later, it was a logical discussion of scenarios, the behavior of the security forces. At the same time it was stated that events that took place in Moscow in the autumn of 1993 would not repeat in Pridnestrovie. Then-Russian President Boris Yeltsin issued a decree №1400 to dissolve parliament. Confrontation between the two branches of power then came to the White House shooting tanks, where was the Russian legislature.

Chairman of the first consultative meeting of Pridnestrovian deputies, the head of state from 1991 to 2011, Igor Smirnov drew attention to the necessity for efforts of all to prevent the development of the society in case the country on such a tragic scenario.

"We do not allow to steal our republic", - such was the leitmotif of most of the speeches of members of a deliberative assembly. They are prepared together with the current members of parliament, deputies of local councils to meet with voters on sites and bring them to their position to rally society.

The consultative assembly members after consideration of this agenda adopted a final document. They expressed in it concern about the statements of the president of the possible dissolution of the Supreme Council, and called PMR Prosecutor's Office to respond to these public statements, as well as sent relevant information to the Russian Federation leadership, the Russian public organizations and mass media.
