Providing the State Security

The State Security Service marked the 26th anniversary of the foundation. Employees and veterans of the department were honored at the Palace of the Republic. It was noted during the solemn meeting that today the employees of the State Service continue the glorious traditions laid down by the Security Service of the President.

Congratulating the employees on the day of the formation of the service, the President of the Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky assessed the work of the department as "excellent". The President noted that the requirements to the personnel of the State Security Service have changed significantly during 26 years. If the main attention at the initial stage was paid to physical abilities, today the emphasis is on the psychological and intellectual skills of employees.

The staff of the department was congratulated by Deputy Viktor Guzun on behalf of the Supreme Council. He read out a welcome address on behalf of the Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Shcherba.

Distinguished employees and veterans of the State Security Service this festive day were awarded state awards.
