The deputy corps has repeatedly raised the issue of the need to develop and implement a development plan for the leading sector of our economy - agriculture. The other day it was presented at the site of the highest executive body. The Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva was also a participant in the presentation of the state program for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the republic 2019–2026. The work on this strategic document during the year was carried out by the relevant department, local authorities, the responsible committee of the legislature.

In accordance with the program, the state will subsidize priority sectors of the agro-industrial sector, in particular, milk producers, for which subsidies from the budget will be allocated. It is noteworthy that such a scheme is already in force this year. State money will also be received by those who intend to bring breeding cattle into the republic to start laying out perennial plantings.

The implementation of the program points is expected to increase the production of agricultural products, cattle, poultry, decrease in import dependence, strengthen food security by increasing the volume of domestic production.

The program provides for the involvement in the crop rotation of new land areas. It is planned to shift the vector from the cultivation of grain and industrial crops in the direction of vegetables, fruits, berries. An important part of the document - creating jobs in the industry, maintaining social infrastructure.

After the direction of the state program of development of the agro-industrial complex of the republic, it will be studied and adopted by deputies of the Supreme Council.
