On the Results and Plans

Members of "The Obnovlenie" (Renewal) parliamentary faction held the last meeting this year. They summed up the legislative work this year, outlined plans for the year to come.

The chairman, Petr Pasat, made a report with brief information about the activities of the faction in 2017.

He also talked about the permanent meetings, consultations of the faction deputies, which included 21 people's deputies, the head of state, the prime minister, heads of state administrations, deputies of local agencies of representative authority, joint meetings of the presidiums of the Supreme Council and the Government. A new impetus was gained by the interaction of the members of the faction with the media of the republic and international cooperation with the Russian Federation, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Nagorno-Karabakh.

Members of "The Obnovlenie" (Renewal) parliamentary faction during the exchange of views expressed the opinion that it is necessary to consider not only the issues on the agenda of the forthcoming plenary meeting, but also important strategic issues of the republic's development, in particular, the functioning of the housing and communal services or local government.

The subject of discussion was the effectiveness of the implementation of the laws adopted by members of "The Obnovlenie", the interaction of representative and executive authorities, the need to develop policy documents for the development of the republic.
