About auto-roads

The parliamentarians considered and adopted in the first reading the amendments to the law "On auto-roads", which was presented by the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. This document is planned to bring certain provisions of the law to uniformity. So the law "On auto-roads" is proposed to be supplemented with paragraphs that define some terms.

It is planned that the draft law will clearly define the width of the buffer zone of roads. These are land plots outside settlements, located on both sides of the buffer zones, intended for the protection and possible future development of the auto-road, providing conditions for its maintenance and movement along it. The current version of the law does not specify the width of the buffer zone. It will be written as part of the preparation of the law-in-draft for the second reading. The government proposes to supplement the law "On auto-roads" with a conceptual apparatus and define such terms as "road", "protective road structures", "artificial road structures".

The law-in-draft was adopted in the first reading. Work on the document continues.
