About new legislation

The President signed the law adopted earlier by the Supreme Council "On Amending the Law "On Education". The legislative act provides an exhaustive list of state educational organizations, admission to which is carried out at the request of citizens on a competitive basis. It is divided into two parts.

The organization of general education of a higher level of education, which includes lyceums, gymnasiums, lyceums-complexes and gymnasium-complexes is in the first. At the same time for lyceums-complexes there is an exception for admission of students for the initial general, preschool and additional education programs, and for gymnasium-complexes when recruiting students for the development of pre-school and additional education programs. Their recruitment is carried out without competitive procedures.
