On the Necessity for Approval of the List of Strategic Organizations and Consumer Rights Protection

Members of the parliamentary faction "Obnovlenie" discussed some issues of the agenda of today's plenary session. As you know, it starts with the "Information Hour of the Executive", in the course of which it is planned to discuss the current socio-economic situation in the republic, the reasons for payment of wages to public sector employees and pensions amounting to 70%, measures to stabilize the economic situation. It invited Prime Minister Tatiana Turanskaya, as well as leaders of social and economic bloc of the Cabinet Council.

There is a law-in-draft of the deputy Anatoly Dirun "On the strategic state and municipal organizations of PMR" among the issues included in the agenda of the plenary session. The initiative is designed to determine the notion of such organizations and adopt a list of them in the republic at the legislative level. According to the author, it is necessary to enshrine provisions on the inadmissibility of the privatization of enterprises of strategic importance for the economy of Pridnestrovie in the law. This, as the legislators noted, will create additional legal barriers.

Parliamentarians discussed amendments to the law “On Protection of Consumers” Rights. The final decision – is up to deputies.
