About the measures undertaken by the state to overcome the gas crisis

The Advisory Assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic met in the building of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on December 24, 2024. Veterans of Pridnestrovian parliamentarism asked the heads of legislative and executive authorities issues about organizing the work of operational headquarters in cities and regions of the republic, providing the population with firewood, and the work of a call center for an emergency in the economy. Earlier a special legal regime in connection with the cessation of gas supplies in Pridnestrovie is valid since December 11, 2024. The deputies of the Advisory Assembly expressed their proposals, which on December 27 in writing were sent to the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the PMR Supreme Council and the PMR Government Chairman.

Negotiations with Moldova and Ukraine to develop the GRES on the basis of gas supply, the accumulation of alternative fuel types for the GRES, strengthening control over firewood and gas cylinder refueling, production of wood-burning stove by local enterprises, work with citizens' appeals during the CHP at the local authorities are among the measures to overcome the gas crisis proposed by the first deputies.

The first Pridnestrovian deputies address received a detailed response of the Ministry of Economic Development. It presents measures that were taken by all authorities of Pridnestrovie to overcome the gas crisis. The first paragraph emphasizes that the leadership of the republic has done a tremendous work to resume natural gas supplies, in particular, many negotiations with representatives of Moldova, Russia, European countries and various supplies were carried out, and natural gas was received in the Pridnestrovie from the 1st of February. The Ministry of Economic Development notes that the issue of accumulation of fuel reserves for the State Enterprise is being worked out, it is regularly monitored by the cost of firewood and gas cylinders refueling, while citizens are allowed to collect a fuss. Work is underway on the acquisition and installation in social institutions and at other facilities of solid fuel boilers for heating. Residents of the republic can call on all issues related to the CHP to crisis call centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including in cities and districts. The protection of public order and safety of citizens is ensured during the work of the diet, heating and overnight points in cities and districts.
