A large delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Moldova Hulusi Kilic visited Tiraspol. The President of PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, his deputy, head of the parliamentary commission on foreign policy and international relations Galina Antyufeeva welcomed foreign guests.

The President, welcoming the members of the Turkish delegation, emphasized that Pridnestrovie and Turkey have good relations in various spheres. Within the framework of the past dialogue, a number of applied issues related to the restoration of cultural elements of our historical heritage were discussed, taking into account the fact that a fortress of Bendery was built on the banks of the Dniester by Turkey.

In addition, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that Pridnestrovian side is interested in Turkey's opinion regarding the regulation of the relations between Chisinau and Tiraspol.

The ambassador of Turkey to Moldova visits our republic for the first time, at the same time he has been already working for six months in Moldova in the current status. Previously, he represented the interests of Turkey in Azerbaijan, before that he worked on the African continent. Ambassador Hulusi Kilic has great diplomatic baggage, practical and life experience, accumulated by him throughout the period of work in various states.

Participants of the meeting stated that the parties are interested not only in the development of cultural and historical ties, but also in economic interaction. In this regard, it is no coincidence that the Turkish delegation includes a number of economic representatives ready for dialogue and cooperation in this sphere.
