Necessary Program

Members of the regular meeting of “The Onbovlenie” devoted most part of the regular meeting of “The Onbovlenie” to the discussion of the content of the state program of capital investments. It is an integral part of the draft republican budget for the next year. The cost of the program is estimated at 186.6 million rubles.

The deputies were told by the Minister of Industry and Regional Development Nikolai Gliga on what and how much is expected to be spent. There are 137 objects in the program. Significant funds will have to build new facilities in health and education. Reconstruction of objects will cost 39 million rubles. 95 objects are planned to be repaired in the amount of 61 million rubles. Cities will also receive funds. Most of all - 14.7 million rubles. - will receive Slobodzeya district, the capital and Bendery will allocate 12 million rubles each. 11 million rubles. will remain in reserve. It is not excluded that some of these funds can be directed to other equally problematic facilities. Deputy of the Supreme Council from Slobodzeya district Sergei Cheban drew the attention to one of these in the course of the meeting of the faction.

Members of “The Obnovlenie” party in the framework of the discussion of the information provided, noted a unilateral vision of the heads of state administrations who in fact independently decided to include certain objects in the program. They suppose that the decision should have been agreed with the deputy corps of local representative authorities. The parliamentarians also spoke for tight control over spending budget funds and technical supervision over the progress of construction, reconstruction and repair, more detailed painting of the capital investment program that they are to accept, and also warned against overstating prices.

The speaker of the parliament, Alexander Scherba, who took part in the meeting of the faction, spoke in favor of a systematic approach to the implementation of the capital investment program.

In the course of the meeting, members of the "Obnovlenie" faction considered in detail the legislative initiative of colleagues Vadim Kravchuk and Andrei Safonov on changing some of the norms of the current law "On Social Protection of War Veterans". People's deputies propose the release of combatants to protect the PMR from payment of travel for treatment to the capital hospital for war invalids and vice versa. The financial security of this benefit is 54.7 thousand rubles per year.
