The new building of the tax inspection in Bendery

06.10.2022

Comfortable and modern working conditions will now be provided to employees of the Bendery Tax Inspectorate. The new administrative building was opened on the eve of the City Day. The ceremony was attended by the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov. A two-story building in the central part of Bender passed into state ownership with the support of the parliament at the expense of the republican budget in 2020.

The fact that the tax service of Bendery needed a new building was first discussed only in 2008. The tax authorities raised this issue three years ago in the course of the meeting of the President with employees of the Ministry of Finance. The two-story building was found and acquired into state ownership then with the support of the legislative and executive branches of power in the central part of Bendery. It was built back in 1955. It was included in the list of objects of cultural heritage of the republic thanks to its architectural form. One of the tasks was to preserve the appearance in its original form during the repair work, which for the most part was carried out within the framework of the Capital Investment Fund program.

The reconstruction of the building took place over two years. Repair work was carried out both inside and outside. A boiler room has been built, all communications have been replaced, a ventilation and air conditioning system has been installed, video surveillance has been installed, and the surrounding area has been landscaped.

The Tax Inspectorate is fully prepared for work. Employees will start working in the new premises within the next ten days.
