The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky signed the laws previously adopted by the Supreme Council deputies.

Changes to the law “On State Youth Policy” now established that the socio-demographic group “youth” is represented in Pridnestrovie by young people aged 14 to 35 years. In addition to this, the law states what a young family is. The law adopted by the Supreme Council also excludes the upper bar of the age limit for members and participants of youth public associations. At the same time, the lower one is 14 years old.

The entry into force of new law will expand the circle of young people who can benefit from state support. This concerns soft loans, housing, subsidies, and social benefits. All this set of measures will contribute to solving the problem of the outflow of young personnel from the republic.

The law "On Amendments and Additions to the Law "On Currency Regulation and Currency Control" is among the signed by the President. Repatriation of foreign currency earnings was increased from 15 to 30 days by legal entities conducting foreign economic activity without concluding agreements. The new legal norm mainly concerns representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

The President with his signature approved the amendments to the basic laws “On the state civil service of the PMR” and “On universal military duty and military service”. From now on, only those who have served in the military will be entitled to civil service. This legislative innovation was the next step towards increasing the prestige of military service. The new legal norm will enter into force on January 1, 2020. An essential point in this case is the absence of retroactive force in the law. It will not apply to those who are already in the public service, but have not completed military service. The law will apply to persons born in 2001 and younger.
