New Memorial of Glory will appear in Rybnitsa region

New Memorial of Glory will be opened at the end of this week in the village of Mokra, Rybnitsa district. It bears the names and surnames of the inhabitants of the village of Mokra, who died in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, and the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, who died in peacetime. The memorial is new, it was built in just one year.

Deputy Valentin Matveychuk in his social network page shares information about the construction of the Memorial and the laying of the Walk of Fame in the village of Mokra. The parliamentarian helped the villagers to buy roses for the Alley, building materials and commemorative plaques. Until the end of the week, they will be installed on the walls of the new Memorial of Glory. The names of almost 200 residents of the village of Mokra - participants in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 - are engraved on them. 240 residents of the village fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, 113 of them did not return home.

The opening of the Memorial of Glory in the village of Mokra, Rybnitsa district, is scheduled for September 20. Deputy of the Supreme Council Valentin Matveychuk and the village administration invites the villagers to take part in the opening of the new memorial and remember their relatives, grandfathers and great-grandfathers - participants, heroes-winners of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
