The PMR President will be able to approve the procedure for conducting checks on officials, whether they comply with the current anti-corruption prohibitions and restrictions: whether they provide all information about their income, property and property obligations, as well as spouses and minor children. The relevant legislations were considered today in the course of the plenary online meeting of the Supreme Council deputies.
The norms apply to those who hold public office, civil service positions, as well as members of the banking council and the board of the Central Bank. The list of officials against whom an inspection may be initiated by decision of the President is also expanding.
Amendments and additions are made to the laws “On Combating Corruption”, “On Investigative Activities in the PMR” and “On Banks and Banking Activities in the PMR”. The Committee on Legislation will prepare legislations for adoption in the second reading.
