New faces in the Supreme Council of the VII convocation

The deputy corps of the Supreme Council of the VII convocation is 10 people less than the previous one and consists of 33 deputies. There are two deputies who have not previously been elected to the country's highest legislative body in the new convocation. Boris German was elected to the Supreme Council from the city of Dubossary, and Stepan Stepanov from the villages of Karagash and Sukleya, Slobodzeya region. Each deputy has experience of working in the local Council of People's Deputies.

Boris German became a member of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex and Industry. The Deputy of the Supreme Council is the director of the Dubossary hydroelectric power station. The specialist’s experience of this level in the energy sector will be very valuable for the relevant committee.

Stepan Stepanov also has experience in the Tiraspol City Council. The Deputy of the Supreme Council intends to build his work in the supreme legislative body, first of all, relying on the orders of the voters.

In addition, Stepan Stepanov intends to draw the attention of state authorities to what talented children there are not only in cities, but also in villages, for example, the guys who are engaged in the Sukleya sports school. Its pupils win the most prestigious awards at various not only republican, but also international tournaments. According to the deputy, the republic should be proud of such enthusiasts. These sportsmen from the provinces need to be paid more attention at the state level.
