New structure of the Supreme Council of the VII convocation

5 committees and 3 standing parliamentary commissions will work in the VII convocation. The resolution on their approval was adopted today by the deputies at the first plenary session. Let us remind you that 8 committees operated in the VI convocation. It was decided due to the reduction in the number of deputies to reduce the number of working bodies of Parliament.

There is in the VII convocation:

- Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance, Viktor Guzun was elected chairman, the committee included V. Kravchuk, D. Ogirchuk, V. Levitsky, A. Mezhinsky, Y. Kucherenko, P. Shkilnyuk;

- Committee on Legislation, Law Enforcement Agencies, Defense, Security, Peacekeeping Activities, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens, Galina Antyufeyeva was elected chairman, the committee included O. Petrik, V. Babchinetskiy, E. Gushan, V. Lipskiy, S. Stepanov;

- Committee on Social Policy, Health Care, Labor, Family and Childhood Issues, Sergei Cheban was elected chairman, the committee included I. Tyuryaeva, Y. Galak, V. Kunitskiy, V. Matveichuk, V. Pelin;

- Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Housing and Communal Services, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources, Oleg Leontyev was elected chairman, the committee included A. Onufrienko, O. Bayev, B. German, I. Nedelkov, S. Pisarenko, I. Yarych;

- The Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy, Igor Buga was elected chairman, Grigory Dyachenko, Andrey Safonov, Ruslan Gareev, Oleg Vasilatiy and Pavel Shinkaryuk entered the committee.

Deputy heads of parliamentary committees will be elected at the next plenary session.

There are 3 standing commissions in the Supreme Council, according to the regulations. Their leaders were also elected at the plenary session today.

The commission on foreign policy and international relations was headed by Galina Antyufeyeva (members of the commission A. Safonov, V. Guzun, S. Cheban, O. Leontiev, V. Kravchuk, V. Levitsky, I. Buga, G. Dyachenko, O. Petrik).

The commission on mandates, regulations and parliamentary ethics was headed by Grigory Dyachenko (members of the commission I. Tyuryaeva, A. Onufrienko, V. Matveychuk).

Counting Commission - chairman Ruslan Gareev, member of the commission V. Kravchuk.
