New benefit: Parliament supported the Government’s initiative

The Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic came up with law-in-draft amending the laws “On Share Fee” and “On Payment for Land”. Parliament supported this initiative. The main task of the authors of the law-in-draft was to return to agricultural production the lands on which farms, field camps and greenhouses were previously located. It was proposed to introduce a benefit on the payment of share fees and land taxes for a period of 3 years for organizations and peasant farms that undertake to return such lands to agriculture. A similar benefit for a period of 5 and 7 years is valid now for organizations and peasant farms that carry out reclamation and cultivation of land after subsoil use and uprooting of perennial plantings.

Parliamentarians supported the law-in-draft in the first reading, work on it will continue, and for the second reading the proposals and comments made by parliamentarians at the plenary session will be taken into account.
