Public hearings on the results of the visit of the delegation of the Supreme Council in Moscow was held under the auspices of the Parliamentary Committee on Business and Industry. The event participants were greeted by the Parliament Speaker Vadim Krasnoselsky, who informed about the purpose of the official visit and its results. He said that his delegation met with their Russian counterparts on sites of the State Duma, the Federation Council, the Presidential Administration and the Government. According to the speaker of the legislature, Russia, as well as Pridnestrovie, is interested in developing bilateral relations. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that representatives of the Supreme Council capital brought in the Russian not only information about the problems existing in the country, but also proposals for dealing with them. Talk to each of the sites was carried out in detail.

The head of the legislature said that Pridnestrovie has defined the vector of development in the pro-Russian direction, but the "economy of the republic today is drifting". The main task - is to minimize the deviation from the selected course. First we need is to increase the volume of exports to the Russian Federation: for the year it fell by half and is 7.5%. This is due not only to the devaluation of the Russian ruble, but with restrictive measures directed against Moldova but affecting automatically Pridnestrovian businesses. The issue of protection of Pridnestrovian exporters from the impact of bans that are distributed to Moldovan producers was discussed among other things in Moscow.

Deputies after returning to Tiraspol have prepared a package of documents that had been sent to the committees of the State Duma and the Federation Council. Last week, it held a working meeting on Pridnestrovie under the leadership of the Federation Council Chairman Valentina Matviyenko. It was decided to establish a working group that will be responsible for issues related to Russian-Pridnestrovian interaction. In addition, according to Vadim Krasnoselsky, the Republic was visited by the Russian Federation Ambassador to Moldova Farid Mukhametshin, who visited some of the Pridnestrovian enterprises.

Moderator of the hearings, the head of the Committee on Industry and Entrepreneurship, who actively participate in the inter-parliamentary work on the Russian sites, Viktor Guzun told about about Russia as the main strategic partner. He reminded about the main barriers that was in the path of Pridnestrovian economy in general and in the Russian direction in particular.

Speaking of the wide possibilities of development of Russian markets, participating of Pridnestrovie in the defense contracts and tenders related to public procurement was not left unattended. Positioned as a part of Moldova, is not a member of the Customs Union, Pridnestrovie, unlike Belarus and Kazakhstan, cannot apply for transactions at this level. However, legislators and entrepreneurs do not give up hope to find a way out of this situation. Pridnestrovie, because of its non-recognition is limited in their rights, but in Russian history there are precedents of the use of "special situation", for example, in relation to Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Possible solutions to this problem were also discussed in Moscow.

Participants of the hearings have no doubt that Pridnestrovie has much to offer the Russians. In order not to be unfounded and not to be caught off guard suddenly received an offer, it decided this week to form a consolidated document, which will reflect the range of products that the republic is able to produce and deliver to Russia. It should be clearly indicated the volume of feasible delivery schedules for each direction, sector, company, product type.
