The result of many hours, sometimes emotional, debate on the government's report on results of activity in 2015 was the adoption of the corresponding decision of Parliament. Unsatisfactory assessment was based on the failed macroeconomic indicators of the last year - the decline in GDP by 20.2%; reducing the number of jobs in the real economy by 4.5 thousand; decline in retail sales by 24%; reduction in the volume of investment by 15%, industrial production by 15% (while exports fell by 14%, while imports plummeted by 30%). The decision indicated the unfavorable situation in the social sphere, especially in health care. This ultimately led to the deterioration of the socio-economic situation of the republic, lowering the standard of living of its citizens.
Even after the decision which reported Pavel Prokudin urged lawmakers to work together to consolidate the efforts of public authorities, to move away from confrontation.
Chairman of the Supreme Council Vadim Krasnoselsky in comments to journalists summarized the results of the plenary session, which was the main issue of the Government Report for 2015.
