Weapons skills, discipline and physical endurance

Every year, in the summer, the heads of state authorities are called to one-day training muster. This event is carried out according to the plan for the preparation of government bodies and troops of the Pridnestrovian Armed Forces. The goal is to confirm the knowledge and consolidate the skills of the republic's leadership in the field of military training.

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov took part in the gathering. He noted that many representatives of government bodies did military service, being young people. Today they are already at a rather adult age, therefore it is necessary to recall both theoretical materials and practical skills.

Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva, for her part, drew attention to the fact that it is important for the authorities to know the conditions under which our military serve.

Chairman of the Committee on Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy Igor Buga noted that he had taken the initiative to fix at the legislative level the provision that everyone who applies for public office must serve in the Armed Forces.

Before the shooting in the military unit in specially equipped training places, the authorities passed an obstacle course and familiarized themselves with certain types of weapons. After that, at the training ground, the participants of the training muster practiced shooting from the main types of infantry weapons.
