The head of the Pridnestrovian parliament Mikhail Burla is a constant participant of scientific conferences held under the auspices. His current report was devoted to the interaction of Pridnestrovie and Russia in the economic sphere. Mikhail Burla told the students that the Russian Federation, supplying gas to create an energy base of our state. Not paying for the resource, the country accumulate collected from the population and enterprises of funds for the use of gas in a special account and where necessary resorts to it for solving social and economic problems. We are talking about almost six billion dollars.

An important component of the economic relations between the two countries is the employment of our citizens in the territory of Russia. According to Mikhail Burla, remittances Pridnestrovians working in different cities and regions of Russia, accounted for a total of about $ 200 million a year before the financial crisis in the Russian market. This amount is equivalent to the annual income of the republican budget.

Talking about the cooperation between the two countries at the legislative level, Mikhail Burla noted that Pridnestrovie harmonize its legislation with the Russian. This includes political status and administrative structure, the number of members of the population and the geographical position of the states. Successfully completed single day of voting was not without attention of the conference participants. The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, PhD Elena Gorodetskaya told the students about the first experiment and its results. She outlined the arguments which prompted a change in the mechanism of elections, highlighting the increase in turnout and reduce costs. According to the head of the CEC, the innovation justified itself to the full estent , but will continue to work to improve the system of simultaneous voting. Necessary amendments will be made to the Electoral Code.
